These are heart shaped fairy lights that my beautiful wife bought from Kmart and has thread them though the bed head, they look amazing as they reflect off the large framed pictures on the wall.
It's great what you can do with these cheap but effective lights, they bring a sense of calmness to our room.
How beautiful does this crepe myrtle look.
I took this picture on our Family trip to Australia's Melbourne Zoo.
I also took this picture of an African Violet at Australia's Melbourne Zoo.
I found this soft white feather on our garden seat, someones bottom will be chilly tonight.
After a cold wet night.
It's like a fairy has come along with blue pen and swished ink over this Iris.
On this Iris the ink has run.

I'm not to sure what these are called but there pretty, they look like there made out of crepe paper.
The colour is beautiful too.
This sneaky little violet is coming out on our fence line, she is right at home under all the trees that stand over her.
Another shot of crepe paper flower, anyone know her real name?
This picture reminds me of those windmill things on a stick you would by at the Royal Melbourne Show and stick to the front of your bike.

Rhododendron
The colour of this rhododendron (above) has been changed, these flowers look so tropical and remind me of places like Fiji and the Pacific Islands. They're in our lower garden and don't really seem to need that much sunlight as they are surrounded by 70 year old apple trees and tree ferns.

Random shots
A close up shot of a Rhododendron shows the dew on a cold Walhalla morning.
In my last post I took a couple of photos on the track to Aberfeldy and told you that I went through the township of Walhalla,Well what can I say, a gorgeous litte place about 2-3 hours North of Melbourne with plenty of accomodation and a great little pub called Wally.
You have to try try the Chicken Walhalla.
Mmm!

I have editted this rose to look like a painting, can you tell it's a photo?
I love Violets, there small but have to most impressive detail. We have many Voilet in our garden and some are purple and yellow like this one and then there are others coloured in shades of white and blue.
When they just start to smile I like to pick them and use them in salads and to decorate a meal.
Yummy.

A slide shoot of the white/yellow rose. I love using Corel to edit my photos, it simple and I can pretty much do anything on it, I have a lot of roses in my Garden and this one doesn't seem to have a very strong perfume but does make up for that in it looks.
It's a cold start for the Box Hedge. I took this in April 2010.
My beautiful wife took this photo of the walk way leading up to Razorback lookout at Coolangatta on the Gold Coast, Australia. At the top, which is only a couple of minutes walk, the lookout took my breath away, It had 360˚ veiws almost to Byron Bay and all the way back and around to Surfers Paradise, plus you can watch the planes take off and land at Coolangatta Airport.

Black & White
I took these two shots of the Thomson Dam one afternoon whislt on my way to Aberfeldy. Not far back is the beautiful little township of Walhalla, I will make sure to get a few pictures on my way back.
Morning show
I took this this morning as the sun was waking up after a cold night, the dewdrops look amazing in first light.
I will try and get a shot to pick up the light another day.

One of the many Maples in our garden
We have a few Maple trees in our garden and this particular one takes my breath away everytime I walk past it. The Japanese Maple has the most beautiful leaves and the shape of the tree is really unique.
